Mouse speed
Mouse speed sets a direct relationship between the physical movement of the mouse and the movement of the pointer on the screen. A low speed means a lot of mouse movement is needed to move the pointer, while a high speed makes the pointer move a lot with little mouse movement.
-
Changing the pointer
Larger and coloured pointers make using the mouse easier for many children and adults. To add pointers like these to the ones already in the operating system, you will find a collection in the downloads section.

ClickLock
For students who find it harder to hold down the mouse button while moving the mouse, there is an option to lock the click until the button is pressed again. This way, to draw, drag items, select text, etc., a slightly longer click locks it, you move the mouse where you want, and click again to unlock it.
